About
The mind behind the code
A nostalgic nerd from Rimini who turns precision, craft and curiosity into polished software.
In short
My name is Giacomo, a nostalgic nerd born in '91 and a web developer with a passion for crafting high-quality digital experiences. I currently live in Rimini, Italy, my hometown.
I have always been drawn to manual and creative activities, especially designing and building prototypes. This passion led me to pursue a diploma as an Electronics and Telecommunications Expert, where I learned to merge technical drawing with real-world applications.
My journey into the world of IT began with small embedded systems projects, where I combined hardware and software to bring ideas to life. After earning my degree in Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Bologna, I immediately transitioned into the field of web development, constantly seeking new challenges and professional growth.
What drives me
Never settle for “just working” — aim for excellence on every project. For me, coding is more than a profession: it’s the art of problem-solving, where each challenge is a chance to innovate and refine my craft.

Hobbies
I have (unfortunately) way too many hobbies, and they tend to be (unfortunately) expensive. Here are the latest obsessions keeping me sane.
-
Traveling
I take every opportunity to travel and explore new places. I've visited many European cities like Paris, Oslo, Tromsø, Andalusia, Amsterdam, Prague and Vienna, as well as more distant destinations like Kenya and Thailand. Hopefully, this list will keep growing!
-
Motorcycles
Especially in summer, few things compare to the freedom of riding along the Rimini seafront, enjoying the sea breeze and the open road.
-
PC nerd & gaming
A lifelong PC nerd. I've been building, tinkering with and gaming on computers since I was a kid — for myself, friends and family. From late-night sessions to chasing the next upgrade, the obsession has never really faded.
-
Playing Guitar
I've been playing the guitar since I was young, completely self-taught. It's my way of unwinding, especially between coding sessions.
-
Growing Hot Peppers
A relatively new but rewarding hobby. As a spice enthusiast, nothing beats growing my own chili peppers and using them in the kitchen for that perfect kick.
-
Sport Shooting
I've always been fascinated by precision shooting — starting with toy guns as a kid and now practicing sport shooting at the range.
-
DIY & Repairs
I love working with my hands. Whether it's fixing something or building a new project, I can't wait to head to the garage and get started.
